This quilt is just precious for the new baby boy or older baby boy also as it is a generous size of 42" X 30". The whole quilt front and back is made of soft flannel. This quilt would make a great shower gift or to take to a new mother at the hospital.
I used browns & aquas from Michael Miller Flannel Collection on the front of the quilt...Baby Boy...Cute Stripes & Buttons....Poodle Power. For the back I used solid brown flannel & Baby Boy from Michael Miller Flannel Collection.
On all my rag quilts I use flannel for the middle instead of batting as it makes a much softer quilt I find and all my customers love them. I do sew the X through the middle of each square as this is a tradition for rag quilts but is needed when using batting but I like the look.
